Long ago, there lived a short LoompaOompa named Befee. He was very weak and frail, and when the mating season came he couldn't find a mate. But rather than immediately depart to Hainemes as most did, he angrily screamed at everyone a doom-fillled fortune; every time it rained, the great Cafermão would show his anger by making multicolored lights appear in the sky. While all pretended to ignore him, deep down every LoompaOompa was worried.
Indeed, the next day, it rained, and looking close they saw that light did appear in the sky! All believed than Cafermão was coming to get them, so the decision to relocate was unanimous. It happened the next day, and the next day, and the day after that, and each time they found a new home. Eventually they became known as "The Wandering Ones" because none of their homes were ever permanent. They had lost that security with the words of Befee.
